Today, after some days away from the blogosphere traveling and trying to meet deadlines, I came across an interesting post written on B.L. Ochman’s blog, What’s Next. She highlighted an amazing video featuring an inventor who has turned salt water into fuel. Yes, that’s right, salt water has been turned into fuel. See the video below for more.
Now, what’s even more amazing is that the inventor did not start out trying to solve our energy woes. No, instead, he was looking for a cure for cancer and “stumbled” upon his new energy source.
This got me thinking about creativity and how it needs room to blossom and grow. Many times, solutions to my toughest problems have come in the middle of the night -- long after I have stopped thinking about them. When this happens I’m reminded that sometimes a break is the best cure for a creative block.
It is also important to be open minded, to allow yourself to break out of your own “box” and experience different ways of thinking and doing things. We can learn a lot by simply being open minded.
From a cure for cancer to a potential solution to our energy woes. This certaintly demonstrates the power of a creative sprit.

Really amazing - thanks for sharing this, Fard. I hope something big comes of it.
